Job summary

Premier Inn in Dunfermline is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to prepare, cook and serve meals for guests. The role involves breakfast and dinner service, working as part of a team to ensure meals are delivered on time and look appetising.

The role requires reliability, teamwork and readiness to handle busy periods. 18 hours per week, evenings and weekends, with a fixed-term contract until November 2026 and pay up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Dunfermline Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until November 2026 – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 18 contracted hours per week.

Location: Fife Leisure Park, Whimbrel Place, Dunfermline, Fife, KY11 8EX

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You might have worked as a:

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
