Job summary

Whitbread in Castleford is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for 20 hours per week at Premier Inn. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that guests rely on during their stay, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

No hotel experience is required; if you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest. You’ll be part of a team delivering meals while staying reliable and eager to roll up your sleeves when it gets busy.

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.

We're currently recruiting in our Castleford (Xscape,M62,J32) Premier Inn. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Castleford (Xscape,M62,J32) Premier Inn

This Isn’t Just About Cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

If you enjoy working as part of a team and seeing the results of your work straight away, this could be the role for you.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Castleford (Xscape,M62,J32) Premier Inn, Colarado Way, Castleford, West Yorkshire, WF10 4TA

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
