Premier Inn in Birmingham City Centre Bridge Street is hiring a Kitchen Team Member on a permanent contract. The role is 30 hours per week with pay up to £13.06 per hour, including evenings and weekends. You’ll help prepare, cook and plate meals for guests and work closely with the hotel team to keep service running smoothly.

This is a hands-on kitchen role where every shift goes quickly and there are opportunities to learn and develop in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No prior hotel experience required; willingness to learn
• Six months or less in kitchen role acceptable; training provided
• You’ll be part of a team delivering meals to guests during busy periods

We're currently recruiting in our Birmingham City Centre Bridge Street Premier Inn. Working 30 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Kitchen Team Member – Birmingham City Centre Bridge Street Premier Inn

This Isn’t Just About Cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.

One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next you’ll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 30 contracted hours per week.

Location: 20 Bridge Street, Birmingham, West Midlands, B1 2JR.

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
