BaxterStorey is seeking a Hotel General Manager to lead multi-department operations and drive exceptional guest experiences across all outlets. You will motivate and develop teams, manage budgets, forecasts and revenue, while upholding brand standards and safety.

You will oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and Events, ensuring service excellence, staff engagement, and compliant operations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, Events).
• Lead, motivate, and develop departmental managers and staff; recruit, train and review performance.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and handle escalated issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company policies; conduct risk assessments.
• Support sales activities and build relationships with corporate clients; identify growth opportunities.

Job Description

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Events.
• Ensure the hotel consistently delivers excellent service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where required.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with brand, company, and regulatory standards.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, motivate, and develop departmental managers and team members.
• Recruit, train, coach, and support staff to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify development opportunities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
• Manage hotel budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Monitor revenue, costs, labour expenditure, and departmental profitability.
• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and improve operational efficiency.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy and revenue.

Guest Experience

• Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered at all times.
• Handle escalated guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality throughout the hotel.

Compliance & Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain security procedures and emergency response plans.
• Ensure licensing and legal requirements are adhered to at all times.

Business Development

• Support sales activities, local marketing initiatives, and community engagement.
• Build relationships with corporate clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for growth within accommodation, food and beverage, and events operations.

Qualifications
