Job summary

Premier Inn Londonderry is seeking a Hotel Duty Manager to help lead the hotel during shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure guests have a great stay.

The role is hands-on, with shifts including evenings and weekends. You’ll make decisions on the floor, coach colleagues, resolve guest queries, and work closely with the Hotel Manager to keep the operation running smoothly.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.86 per hour

Location: Londonderry Premier Inn, Crescent Link, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, BT47 6SA

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As Duty Manager, you’ll help lead the hotel during your shift. You’ll work across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to make sure our guests have a great stay and your team has everything they need. You’ll:

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings
• Support and coach team members throughout the day
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant
• Spot issues early and put them right
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team

This isn’t a role where you stand back and supervise.

You’ll be out on the floor, helping your team wherever you’re needed.

Some of our best Duty Managers joined us from retail, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, leisure, healthcare and customer service.

If you’ve led people before, we can teach you the hotel.

You may have worked as a:

• Shift Manager

Any role where you’ve been responsible for leading people in a busy customer-facing environment would suit us.
