With seasonal British menus, vibrant cocktails, and a timeless dining room, The Alice is a place where warm welcomes meet refined service. We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and confident Restaurant Host to greet guests, manage bookings, and set the tone for unforgettable experiences.

As Restaurant Host, you’ll be the first person our guests meet and the last person they remember. You’ll manage our reservations system, support floor service, and be the calm, collected presence at the front desk. Whether it’s a busy brunch or a romantic dinner, you’ll make sure every guest journey starts and ends on a high. And like us, you’ll live our values every shift:

What Do You Need?

  • Experience in a customer-facing hospitality or reception role.
  • A confident, professional, and friendly attitude.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with booking systems (e.g., SevenRooms or OpenTable) is a plus.
  • Smart presentation and calm under pressure.
