Overview

We are looking for an engaging and highly organised Hospitality Supervisor to take full ownership of the daily hospitality operations within our client's prestigious London headquarters.

This role requires a natural leader who thrives in a high-standard, fast-paced environment - someone who combines operational precision with genuine warmth and attention to detail.

The Hospitality Supervisor will support the Events & Hospitality Manager in ensuring flawless service delivery across 20 meeting rooms, including 4 executive boardrooms and a large auditorium for corporate and client events.

Location: EC2V 7QP

Rate of Pay: 34,278.40 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

Lead the daily operation of all meeting room and hospitality services, ensuring every order is delivered accurately, on time, and beautifully presented.

Oversee the setup and service in executive boardrooms and the auditorium, maintaining a calm, professional atmosphere at all times.

Act as the primary on-the-floor point of contact for hospitality, ensuring seamless communication between kitchen, logistics, and front-of-house teams.

Anticipate service needs and resolve issues quickly and discreetly, maintaining standards of excellence and signature personal touch.

Team Leadership

Supervise and inspire a team of four Hospitality Assistants, providing hands-on guidance, motivation, and support.

Lead daily briefings to review bookings, client priorities, and VIP requirements.

Foster a culture of pride, respect, and accountability, ensuring each team member delivers a five-star experience.

Support training, onboarding, and development, celebrating achievements and encouraging continuous improvement.

Client Partnership

Build positive relationships with Investec employees, event organisers, and guests, ensuring expectations are always exceeded.

Support the delivery of internal and client events, working closely with the Events & Hospitality Manager to execute them flawlessly.

Deliver premium, discreet service for boardroom and executive-level meetings.

Be a visible and approachable presence across floors.

Quality, Safety & Presentation

Ensure all meeting rooms, service areas, and back-of-house spaces are immaculately presented and maintained.

Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene, allergen awareness, and health & safety compliance.

Conduct regular quality checks on presentation, stock, and equipment, escalating issues promptly.

Support stock management, ordering, and efficient use of systems to streamline service delivery.

Administrative & Reporting Support

Assist the Events & Hospitality Manager with daily reporting, service logs, and client feedback.

Monitor trends, service performance, and suggest proactive improvements.

Contribute to sustainability and waste reduction initiatives.
