Job summary
BaxterStorey is seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to manage two Executive Floors at our City of London site. You will host Executive Directors' guests, coordinate high-end hospitality, and supervise fine dining for VIP visitors while coordinating with kitchen, events, and cafe teams.
Ideal candidates have strong experience in fine dining, VIP service, and executive support. The role demands exceptional communication, organization, and the ability to maintain outstanding service under pressure.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, catering, events or food & beverage supervision.
- Strong fine dining and VIP service knowledge.
- Experience supporting senior executives and high-profile visitors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook for meeting room scheduling.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay composed and provide exceptional service under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain two Executive Floors, ensuring high standards and coordinating maintenance and service issues.
- Act as primary host for Executive Directors' visitors, coordinating hospitality requirements and guest service.
- Manage meeting room bookings and hospitality requests using Microsoft Outlook, ensuring accurate schedules.
- Deliver and supervise fine dining hospitality for Executives, VIPs, and corporate visitors.
- Play an integral role in delivering events across the site.
- Monitor daily department standards and report concerns to line managers.
- Liaise with kitchen, events, cafe and other departments to ensure food and service quality.
- Ensure in-house accounting policies are adhered to and monitor food & beverage control, including stock takes.

- Manage and maintain two Executive Floors, ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standards at all times. Identify, report, and follow up on maintenance, housekeeping, facilities, and service-related issues with the appropriate departments to ensure timely resolution.
- Act as the primary host for Executive Directors' visitors, providing a professional and welcoming experience, coordinating hospitality requirements, and ensuring guests receive exceptional levels of service throughout their visit.
- Manage meeting room bookings and hospitality requests using Microsoft Outlook, ensuring rooms are allocated appropriately, schedules are maintained accurately, and any changes are communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Deliver and supervise fine dining hospitality services for Executive Directors, VIP guests, and corporate visitors, ensuring the highest standards of presentation, etiquette, and service are maintained at all times.
- Play an integral role in the successful delivery of events across the site.
- To monitor daily, the standards achieved in your department and report to your line managers any areas of concerns.
- To liaise with key people in all necessary areas (kitchen, events, Cafe, etc…) of the business to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards pre‑agreed.
- To ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and monitor food and beverage control, including performing stock take.
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, events, or food & beverage supervision.
- Strong fine dining and silver service experience, with a thorough understanding of hospitality etiquette and VIP guest service.
- Experience supporting senior executives, board members, and high-profile visitors.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, including meeting room scheduling and calendar management.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards.
