Job description

Heritage Portfolio has a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced, innovative Multisite Hospitality Manager with strong commercial acumen to join the Heritage Portfolio Team. The role oversees the prestigious Hopetoun House and provides flexible support across other sites. Own transport is essential.

You will report to both the site lead and line manager, focusing on supporting the efficient planning and management of Heritage Portfolio events across various venues within our cultural destination. Ensuring event planning and service delivery meet the needs of venue partners, clients, and Heritage Portfolio in a timely and effective manner is key. The role also involves planning, implementing, and monitoring high standards of Food Safety, Health, and Safety throughout the venue and contract areas. A flexible and adaptable approach is required, providing support across multiple locations.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure all planning, operational, and kitchen service delivery functions for the applicable venue(s) are in place and meet the appropriate standards.
  • Manage all quality control measures, Health & Safety, and Hygiene systems to Heritage Portfolio specifications, as allocated by each venue manager.
  • Understand and deliver service offers to venue clients, customers, and the Heritage Portfolio team.
  • Lead innovation and service styles to enhance client experiences and feedback.
  • Contribute to team activities, discussions, and decisions to grow and improve the Heritage Portfolio business.
  • Articulate the service offers for each event, including food, equipment, flow, and customer experience, to improve business outcomes.
  • Support venues in managing financial performance, including forecasting, event planning, staffing, event costing, cost control, post-event review, stock management, and reconciliation.

What you’ll bring

  • A passionate interest in the catering industry, with knowledge of current trends and a keen interest in hospitality.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Demonstrable experience in a premium catering environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to colleagues, peers, and clients.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email.
  • Ability to motivate a team with diverse abilities and personalities.
  • Leadership experience in people management.
  • Experience with event costing and design.
  • Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines and pressure.

Salary of £29,000 - £32,000 per annum plus a range of excellent benefits.
