Job summary

BaxterStorey is recruiting a Hospitality Host/Hostess for a Monday to Friday shift at EC4A in London. You will greet guests, assist with seating, manage reservations, and ensure a seamless dining experience while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm welcome and assisting with seating arrangements.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's layout, table availability, and seating capacity.
• Manage reservations, including recording bookings, updating availability, and confirming reservations as needed.
• Monitor outlet activity to anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area, including the reception area and dining room.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the guest experience and maximizing revenue.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, hospitality, and guest service at all times.
