Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers invites applications for a General Manager in Training. This 12-week induction program develops leadership and operational skills to manage pubs within a district. You will work with an area manager to grow teams, hit targets, and gain hands-on experience across Vintage Inns and related brands.

Upon completion, you will be assessed for available General Manager roles or considered for Deputy/Assistant Manager positions depending on performance and development needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and develop a business.
• Willingness to travel across district and drive to affiliated venues.
• Clean driving licence required to support district coverage.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Support the business to hit food and drink targets and maintain standards.
• Coordinate across pubs in your district with the area manager during the induction.
• Progression to General Manager roles or Deputy/Assistant Manager positions upon successful completion.
