Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Hospitality background diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management.
• SAIPA, CIMA, ACCA, SAICA articles (completed or in progress) advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.
• 24 years' accounting experience.
• Experience in hotel, lodge, hospitality group, or tourism environment advantageous.
• Experience with multiple entities or branches.
• Experience with month-end accounting processes.
• Knowledge of VAT and SA accounting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month-end reporting across entities.
• Own or support balance sheet reconciliations and close processes.
• Maintain timely supplier payments and cashflow records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and financial statement prep.
• Ensure VAT compliance and submission deadlines.
• Reduce outstanding debtor balances and improve collections.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
• Support hotel and lodge operational teams with financial processes.
