Job summary

The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn, United Kingdom, seeks a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee day-to-day F&B operations at the Hen Old Inn. You will manage a 30+ front-of-house team, report to the Operations Manager, and ensure exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and private functions.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of Restaurant/Bar managerial experience.
• Must have at least 2 years of bar experience.
• Experience working in a high pace, busy restaurant.
• Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team.
• Performance-driven with a focus on excellent customer service.
• Good organisational skills under pressure and multi-tasking.
• Flexible with shift patterns including daytime, evenings and weekends.
• Pride in delivering high standards of presentation and Galgorm Collection brand.
• Hotel environment experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Assist in managing day-to-day Restaurant and Bar operations under the Operations Manager.
• Ensure smooth daily operation in absence of the Operations Manager with adequate staff coverage.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures, till reconciliation and key holder duties.
• Address customer complaints directly and professionally.
• Oversee reservations, seating allocations and notes using ResDiary.
• Support training and development of restaurant and bar staff.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and kitchen team to drive sales and standards.
