Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group Ltd seeks a friendly Hospitality Assistant to provide a professional yet relaxed dining service for residents and visitors at our Bisley site. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will help deliver high standards of food service and a welcoming atmosphere.

You should have good communication skills, be a team player, and flexible to meet residents’ needs. Experience in catering or hospitality is desirable. The role offers rewarding benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver prepared food from kitchen to dining areas and serve meals to residents in a friendly manner.
• Set up tables, tidy work areas and prep food areas for the next service.
• Ensure refreshments are always available for residents and visitors.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in dining areas.

Job description

Reporting to the Care Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional but relaxed atmosphere in the dining room and will ensure that residents and visitors receive an efficient food service.

About You

Our ideal Hospitality Assistant will have the following skills and values:

• Caring nature.

• Experience of working in a catering service in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.

• Setting up tables, tidy work areas and preparing food areas for next service to ensure high standards of hygiene

Experience

• Ideally some experience working in a busy restaurant/hospitality or catering


• Good communication and excellent customer service skills to be able to deliver a good service to our visitors and elderly residents


• Team player, self-motivated, proactive and flexible
