Job description

CGC Event Caterers are looking for casual Bar and Hospitality staff to join the team at Beverley Racecourse. Situated in the heart of the beautiful, historic market town of Beverley, the racecourse has 19 race days per year from April to September, alongside a number of conferences and events throughout the year.

We are seeking Bar and Hospitality staff to work over our busy festive period at Beverley—going into the next racing season too—and to deliver the highest level of service to our guests, maintain the CGC Standards of Excellence, and assist with the smooth running of all events and race days.

Key responsibilities:
  • Serving food and drinks to all of our guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ensuring orders are taken and processed accurately and promptly
  • Building rapport and delivering outstanding customer service to guests, ensuring a positive experience
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and Challenge 25 in all areas
  • Ensuring areas are kept clean, tidy, and fully stocked, including relaying areas for the next day
  • Work as part of a team to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests
Person Specification
  • Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable
  • Must be able to commute to the venue during unsociable hours
  • Confident being customer facing
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a great eye for detail
  • Engaging, enthusiastic and punctual
Recruitment Process

Outlined: To be successful, you MUST be able to attend an Assessment Centre on the 18th November 2025 and attend a Training Induction on the 24th November 2025.
