Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospital or similar environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients between wards, departments, and other hospital areas.
  • Assist in moving medical equipment, supplies, and other essential items.
  • Provide courteous and compassionate support to patients, visitors, and clinical staff.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to portering requests.

Patient Porter – Norwich

We are currently recruiting for a Patient Porter to join the team at one of our brilliant clients based in Norwich. This is an essential frontline role, supporting the smooth and safe operation of hospital services by assisting in the movement of patients, equipment, and supplies across various departments.

Location: Norwich

Salary: £12.21 per hour (increases to £12.51 after 12 weeks)

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 14:00–00:00 (first approx 4 weeks will be 09:00-17:00 for training)

Key Responsibilities
