Job summary

Spire Clare Park Hospital in Farnham is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to join the Pharmacy Department. You will assist in delivering safe and efficient medicines management within a private hospital setting.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 and strong teamwork, with excellent interpersonal and numeracy skills. You will support pharmaceutical tasks and ensure compliance with current legislation and hospital policies, contributing to patient safety and service

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Numerate and detail‑conscious with good organisational ability

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team in providing an exemplary service to the hospital and patients
• Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines
• Undertake routine delegated activities in line with legislation and Spire policies
• Prepare equipment, materials and medicines for tasks
• Accurately dispense medicines under pharmacist supervision
• Prepare small batches of pre‑packed/over‑labelled medicines with pharmacist verification
• Record data accurately and pass to the appropriate team member
