Job summary

Avon And Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Nhs Trust is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support ward staff and maintain a clean, patient-friendly environment. Duties include cleaning, meal preparation and presentation, and restocking disposables in accordance with NHS standards.

The role requires adherence to health and safety procedures (COSHH, manual handling) and a flexible approach to meet ward and patient needs across various hospital areas.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of Ward/Departmental areas and preparation and service of patient meals.
• Cleaning in all areas to NHS specifications including National Standards of Cleanliness, CQC outcomes, PLACE and local schedules.
• Replenish stocks of disposable items (paper towels, soap).
• Work in accordance with health and safety procedures (COSHH, Manual Handling).
• Demonstrate a flexible attitude to meet the needs of the Ward and Patients.
