Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant at Cromwell Hospital, Kensington, London. The role supports the Housekeeping Manager in hospital cleaning, laundry and infection control to maintain a safe, infection-free environment across the hospital and offices.

You will prepare rooms, deep clean between occupants, manage waste and laundry, and ensure amenities are replenished. Candidates should have cleaning experience and be fluent in English, with good timekeeping and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally with some understanding of infection control.
• Good basic education is required.
• A flexible team player who communicates politely in English and works well with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for new occupants, including isolation rooms, following housekeeping procedures.
• Damp dust and clean high surfaces, furniture and fittings.
• Clean sanitary and service areas and deep clean rooms between occupants.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish and soiled linen and maintain floors using equipment.
• Replenish towels and disposable items as required.
