Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper/Domestic Assistant to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients across hospital areas. You will perform room cleaning, waste removal, linen handling and deep cleans, while following infection prevention protocols.

We value friendly staff with strong customer service and organisational skills, able to work as part of a team. The role offers 37.5 hours per week (with full-time and part-time options) and a benefits package including

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeper/domestic assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and infection prevention guidance.
• Friendly with good communication and customer service.
• Well organised with time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare areas to create a clean, safe environment for patients.
• Perform room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection and deep cleaning as required.
• Work with the infection prevention team and report incidents.
• Maintain hygiene standards and ensure a pleasant patient experience.
