Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a part-time Domestic Services Assistant to provide a range of cleaning and domestic services across Clinical and Non-Clinical departments in hospitals and health centres.

You will work during backshift hours (Mon-Thu 16:30–20:00, Fri 16:30–19:46) and ensure compliance with quality, health and safety, infection control and national cleaning standards. PVG scheme membership is required before starting.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership/record is required.
• Ability to work across Clinical and Non-Clinical hospital areas.
• Commitment to quality standards, health & safety and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of domestic services across Hospital and Health Centre sites.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, health & safety, infection control and related specifications.
• Follow division instructions and national cleaning service policies.
