King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced Dispensary Manager to lead the PRUH dispensary, ensuring safe and efficient pharmaceutical care for patients. The role includes team leadership, policy implementation and service improvements within a busy hospital pharmacy.

You will manage staffing, training and day-to-day operations, contributing to the Trust's commitment to outstanding patient care and continuous service enhancement.

Formación

• GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with hospital dispensary experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing teams and implementing service improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the dispensary service to ensure safe, effective and economical use of drugs for all patients in the Trust.
• Plan and allocate work for all dispensary staff to ensure service delivery at PRUH.
• Propose changes to working practices to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Provide operational output and activity data to senior staff at regular intervals.
• Ensure FP10 prescriptions are stored securely and issued according to procedures.
• Train dispensary staff on transactional equipment and systems.
• Ensure effective two-way communication within the team and with the rest of the pharmacy department.
• Act as deputy for the Principle Technician Patient Services as required.
