Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Isleworth is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Assistant (Dispensary). The successful candidate will manage stock control, dispense medications, and train staff. Candidates should have an NVQ 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills, previous hospital pharmacy experience, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The role offers a competitive salary between £29,651 and £31,312 per annum, with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in hospital Pharmacy.
• Customer Service experience.
• Experience of using stock control systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock control and be a super user for the ROWA system.
• Dispense medication in the Inpatient and Outpatient dispensaries.
• Training rotational assistants and other staff.

Skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Accurately dispense to set standards

Ability to support and train others

Ability to communicate routine information effectively

Familiar with Pharmacy procedures and workflow

Education

English, Maths and Science GCSE Grade C or above

NVQ 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent
