Job summary

Priory Group is recruiting a Cleaner for Priory Hospital Ticehurst House, offering flexible hours and bank shifts across all wards. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff within a mental health inpatient setting.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; candidates should have a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Shifts typically run 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday, with transport access recommended.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
• Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
• Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
• Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
• Supporting colleagues where required
