Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool Women's Hospital are hiring a Catering Assistant to join the NHS catering team. The post is full time with shifts 07:00 to 15:00, Tuesday to Friday, at Liverpool Women's Hospital.

The closing date is 10 November 2026 and training will be provided. Responsibilities include food preparation, plating and service to patients, visitors and staff, beverage service, temperature checks, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas in line

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience
• Previous industrial catering experience
• Previous use of cleaning machinery, dishwashing or panwashing machinery

Responsabilités

• Provide localised catering service observing health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Deliver food to patients, visitors and staff and communicate requirements to the catering department.
• Prepare patient meal trays and beverages, check temperatures and record equipment temps.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and related areas according to schedules.
• Assist with stock orders and receipt of goods for the department.
• Support the catering supervisor and participate in training as required.
