Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Herefordshire is seeking a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker to assist in delivering high-quality care at home. This role requires completing a Care Certificate and involves assisting nursing staff with various patient care tasks, including taking observations and administering basic care. Ideal candidates should demonstrate effective communication and core nursing skills. Competitive salary ranges from £24,625 to £25,674 pro rata.

Qualifications

• Completion of Care Certificate or equivalent experience to vocational qualification level 3.
• Can demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care.
• Effective written and verbal communication, literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified Nursing staff in a range of patient care duties.
• Undertake delegated nursing tasks including taking samples and routine observations.
• Provide planned patient care.
