Ashgate Hospice in the North Derbyshire Chesterfield area is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our hospice housekeeping team, supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.

You will clean patient rooms, clinical and public areas, restock supplies, assist with bed-making, curtain washing and floor care, while following safety guidelines and contributing to a compassionate team environment.

Formación

• Experience in hospital/healthcare cleaning preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness to high standards.
• Good communication with staff and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Clean all areas of the hospice, including patient rooms, clinical spaces and public areas.
• Perform deep cleans after patient discharge and maintain hygiene standards.
• Restock supplies such as towels, soap and toilet rolls.
• Support colleagues with bed-making, curtain washing and floor care.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Engage respectfully with patients and visitors and offer assistance when needed.
