Qualifications

• Evidence of recent care experience.
• Able to work on a rota basis involving shifts, nights, and weekends.
• Experience of caring for people in a palliative care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist qualified nursing staff in delivering person-centred care.
• Observe and report patients' general conditions to nursing staff.
• Communicate appropriately with patients and families.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary setting

Experience of providing person centred care

Understanding of hospice and palliative care

Evidence of relevant Health & Social Care training/qualification

Education

NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent
