Job summary

Leigh Academy Snowfields in Cranbrook is seeking a dedicated Horticulture Coordinator to enrich outdoor learning spaces and support students in developing practical hands-on skills.

You will work closely with our Horticulture Teacher to guide safe, engaging sessions and nurture plant care within a supportive environment. This role offers meaningful experience in a thriving SEN setting and broad curriculum exposure.

In this role, you will work alongside our Horticulture Teacher to maintain thriving, healthy growing spaces while assisting students in gaining practical, hands-on skills in a safe and encouraging environment.

As our Horticulture Coordinator, you’ll be a crucial part of bringing our outdoor learning spaces to life. Working side-by-side with our Horticulture Teacher, you will help nurture both our plants and our students—preparing inspiring practical environments, guiding young people as they develop hands-on skills, and sharing your seasonal know-how to enrich our curriculum. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share your enthusiasm for nature while helping our students grow in confidence, resilience, and independence every single day.
