An environmental charity in Belfast seeks a dedicated individual to support practical environmental projects and engage with communities. THE EMPLOYER IS: THE CONSERVATION VOLUNTEERS - BELFASTEstablished in 1959, the Conservation Volunteers (TCV) are one of UK’s leading environmental volunteering charities, in 2024 we transformed over 1,500 green spaces for the benefit of local communities.The post is based at TCV’s Belfast office on the Ravenhill Road from where TCV delivers projects across the Belfast region.We undertake a wide range of projects including:Garden projects at the Ulster Folk Museum.Green Gym and food growing projects.Projects to improve allyways.Supporting communities to improve their local area.Tree planting projects.Improvements to school grounds for learning and play.Habitat management of bogs and woodland habitats.
