Horticultural Service Technician – Cambridge Area

Permanent | Full-time | Competitive Pay + Company Van

I’m partnering with a well‑established machinery business in the Cambridge area that’s looking to bring a new Horticultural Service Technician into their Fulbourn-based team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands‑on experience in horticultural, garden, utility, or small ag machinery who enjoys problem‑solving, customer interaction, and working with a supportive workshop crew.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Repairing and maintaining a wide range of horticultural machinery
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out service/repair work efficiently
  • Using diagnostic software to investigate hydraulic and electrical issues
  • Delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
  • Working independently when needed, while also being part of a strong team
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience with domestic or professional grass / horticultural machinery
  • Good technical knowledge of utility, garden, or small agricultural equipment
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic ability
  • Confident with computers and modern diagnostic tools
  • Great communication skills and a positive, self‑motivated approach
  • Comfortable with some heavy lifting and knowing when to ask for help

Location: Fulbourn, Cambridge

Hours: 39 hours per week
