Job description

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable team players to join our Honey Intake Team – the vital first step in ensuring every drop of Rowse Honey meets our high standards. Whether you’re an experienced Team Leader ready to take charge or a motivated Operative looking to grow your career in food manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Safely unload containers and handle the labelling, inspection, and storage of drums and IBCs.
  • Complete all receiving paperwork accurately and on time to maintain full product traceability.
  • Use the RF system to pick and load drums into cabinets and hot rooms.
  • Conduct sampling, inventory checks, and elevate any stock or quality concerns.
  • Work closely with your team and other departments to meet unloading and picking schedules.
  • Maintain high hygiene, housekeeping, and biosecurity standards in all intake areas.
  • Perform equipment safety checks, reporting faults or damage promptly.
  • Champion Health & Safety, using PPE correctly and reporting hazards.
  • Take part in ongoing training and development to support your success in the role.
Qualifications
  • A positive attitude to safety and teamwork.
  • A proactive mindset, with good problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Numeracy and data accuracy skills.
  • Experience with IFS and RF systems is an advantage (training provided).
  • A forklift licence (Counterbalance, motorised pallet truck) is desirable.
  • Grab and ramp training experience is a plus (training available).
