Job description

Neway International are seeking Homelessness Project Workers to join our client, London Borough of Haringey.

Location: Olive Morris Court
Hours: 36 per week (Shift pattern between 08:00 – 22:00)
Start Date: asap, initially for a 3 month contract that is likely to be extended.
Pay Rates: PAYE £16.00 per hour / Limited/Umbrella £20.75 per hour

The Role

As a Homelessness Project Worker, you will provide direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them access accommodation, services, and pathways to stability. Based at Olive Morris Court, you will work within a rota system to ensure consistent coverage and support for service users. This is a frontline role requiring resilience, empathy, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide housing-related support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Assist service users in accessing accommodation and wider support services.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and community organisations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of Olive Morris Court through rota-based coverage.
  • Support the delivery of housing services in line with council policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
