  • A GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with a UK-recognised / GPhC-accredited Accuracy Checking qualification.
  • Sharp eye for detail with experience in high-volume orders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the final accuracy check on prescriptions containing prescription-only and pharmacy medicines.
  • Record correct and raise errors to the lead pharmacist.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records ensuring compliance with regulations.

Were seeking a qualified Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician to join our Cheadle this role youll be the final safeguard ensuring the safe and accurate supply of HPN and OPAT orders making a impact on patients who rely on life-sustaining treatments.

What you’ll do :
  • Complete the final accuracy check on prescriptions containing prescription-only and pharmacy medicines.

  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records ensuring full compliance with regulations and a clear audit trail.
  • Ensure all prescriptions are processed on time with detailed handovers.
  • Support broader pharmacy procedures.
What you’ll bring :
  • A UK-recognised Level 3 pharmaceutical qualification (BTEC NVQ or equivalent).
  • A GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with a UK-recognised / GPhC-accredited Accuracy Checking qualification.
  • A sharp eye for detail and shown experience working with high-volume orders under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving collaboration and organisational skills.
  • Experience with complaint management or prescription investigations (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices in a pharmacy environment (advantageous).
