Job summary

Specsavers seeks a domiciliary optometrist to deliver eye care to patients in their homes across the mapped territory. You will drive to doorstep appointments, perform examinations, and provide clinical guidance with empathy and professionalism.

In addition to clinical duties, you will coordinate with the team, maintain patient records, and support ongoing access to eye care services for the community.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Optical Council and eligible to practise as an optometrist.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide domiciliary eye care and vision assessments at patients' homes.
• Advise on eye health, prescribe spectacles or manage referrals as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow care plans.
• Engage with the community to promote accessible eye care services.
