We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead a well‑regarded 76‑bed residential and dementia care home in Ipswich. Recently rated Good by CQC the home has a solid foundation but now needs a strong stable leader to guide it forward.

The Role
  • Provide strong stable leadership to the care team creating a motivated and positive culture where staff feel valued
  • Recruit, develop and retain a diverse team to deliver outstanding residential and dementia care
  • Work closely with the Customer Relationship Manager to increase occupancy, develop community partnerships and strengthen the home’s reputation
  • Build lasting relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and the local community
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain the highest standards of care and create a consistently positive resident experience
  • Drive long‑term improvements focusing on recruitment and staff retention
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Home Manager in residential or dementia care
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building stable teams
  • Commercial awareness and ability to balance exceptional care quality with occupancy and financial performance
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Genuine passion for person‑centred care and commitment to providing stability and consistency in leadership
