Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for an experienced Registered Home Manager for their 70-bed nursing home in Middlesbrough. This is a chance to join a provider during a period of growth. The role offers the opportunity to lead an experienced team and establish the home in the local area.

This role would suit an Experienced Clinical Home Manager, who is passionate about care and has a track record of consistent performance. You will be required to focus on high-quality person-centred care in line with CQC regulations, support the clinical requirements, develop the staff team, and drive growth while maintaining financial performance.

The Candidate

The successful candidate must have experience as a Registered Home Manager and demonstrate a strong understanding of CQC criteria, along with a history of consistent inspections and performance. Candidates need to be nurse-qualified, preferably RGN, but other qualifications may be considered with relevant experience, and you will need to be confident in managing clinical aspects.

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence of running a successful care service with an approachable style, clear boundaries, and a coaching mindset. The position requires a confident, positive person who can motivate a staff team, ensure first-class care is always delivered, and thrive in a changing environment focused on people and growth.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Home Manager.
• Must be nurse qualified (preferably RGN, but RMN considered) and have an active PIN.
• Knowledgeable on CQC criteria and a history of consistent inspections.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to drive growth and commercial success.

Location

The home is based in Middlesbrough and would be a suitable commute from surrounding areas within a 40-minute drive, such as Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Redcar, Darlington, and Billingham.
