Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Home Manager to lead a care home with a focus on person-centred care and high quality outcomes. You will be the senior leader on site, responsible for guiding operations, staff development and delivering outstanding care for residents.

The role requires strong governance, community engagement and commercial acumen. The Home Manager will work within a supportive framework with autonomy to drive improvements, while maintaining Barchester’s recognised standards

Qualifications

• Inspirational leadership with proven ability to develop and motivate teams to deliver outstanding care.
• Strong track record in driving occupancy, marketing and business development within the care sector.
• Deep understanding of safeguarding, CQC guidelines and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home with a person-centred care approach.
• Drive occupancy and marketing strategies to grow the home’s reputation.
• Ensure safeguarding, risk management and CQC compliance across all operations.
• Develop and empower teams, while building strong links with the local community.
