Job summary

Hamberley Care Management Limited is seeking a Registered Home Manager to lead Hindhead Place in Surrey, a luxurious care home offering elderly, dementia and respite care. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running, delivering high-quality care and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years' home management experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Registered Home Manager with at least 3 years' experience in a care home.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CQC and Local Authority requirements.
• Clinical background preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the care home.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality care to residents.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
• Act as a role model in attitude, behaviour and conduct.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families and external agencies.
• Review residents' needs and update care plans accordingly.

We are looking for a Registered Home Manager to join us at Hindhead Place in Surrey, which provides award-winning residential care, dementia care, nursing care and respite breaks.

What you'll be doing:

• Operate efficiently and effectively to lead and manage the day to day running of the care home.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality care services to residents.
• Ensure the care home complies with all relevant legislation and is always of at least a good or equivalent standard as measured by the regulatory body.
• To act as a role model leading by example in attitude, behaviour and conduct.
• Conduct regular assessments and reviews of residents' needs and update care plans accordingly.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to provide holistic care.

The successful applicant will be/have:

• Registered Home Manager with minimum 3 years experience in a similar setting.
• Clinical background would be preferable but not essential.
• Proven track record working successfully in a care home. (Elderly setting).
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Knowledge of private fee pay market.
• Knowledge of CQC & Local Authority requirements.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Possess committed and organised approach.
• A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
