Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE) + 40% Bonus Per Annum

Our care home is set in a stunning location, in the coastal town of Elie and Earlsferry. We provide Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for 26-residents.

Earlsferry House is a beautiful two-storey manor home overlooking the Firth of Forth, providing high-quality nursing care for up to 26 residents. With its coastal charm, strong reputation, and deeply committed team, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced, values-driven Home Manager to lead a home full of potential.

Contract

Salary: up to £60,000 per annum

Annual bonus: Earn up to 40% of your salary annually - OTE £84,000.

Extras: Private Medical Insurance, Pension and 5.6 weeks annual leave

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading all operational aspects of a welcoming, characterful care home.
  • Inspiring, empowering and developing a long-standing, dedicated team.
  • Strengthening governance, compliance and overall CI performance.
  • Building trusted relationships with residents, families, regulators and community partners.
  • Maintaining strong occupancy and supporting commercial growth (avg. fee £1,600/week).
  • Ensuring Earlsferry House continues to feel like a true “home from home”.
Current Performance Snapshot

Occupancy: 24/26 residents (just 1 below target)

Average Fee: £1,600 per week

Clinical Vacancies: zero fully staffed RGN team

Regulatory: CI Grade 3, with previous requirements met

What You’ll Bring
  • Proven Home Manager experience within elderly care settings.
  • Nurse qualification desirable, but skilled non-clinical managers (SVQ4) strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience leading clinical teams and driving quality improvements.
  • Strong commercial awareness, especially within older buildings and competitive markets.
  • A values-based leadership style rooted in honesty, empathy and collaboration.
  • Turnaround or improvement experience welcome to support CI grade uplift.
