Qualifications

Location: Colchester, Essex | Salary: £45,000 - £55,000| Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a high-performing childrens residential home in Colchester, Essex. The home supports young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), offering a nurturing, trauma-informed environment where each childs development, safety, and well-being is prioritised.

This is an ideal opportunity for a confident leader with proven experience managing a childrens home and a passion for creating positive, lasting change in young peoples lives.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a childrens residential setting
• Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to lead, manage and inspire a team
• Confident in handling inspections, audits, and multi-agency collaboration
• A child-focused, resilient, and compassionate leadership approach
