Job summary

B&Q Carmarthen is hiring a Customer Advisor on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week) for a 3-month fixed term contract. Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm, with an hourly rate of £13.10.

You’ll be an expert adviser, helping customers with home improvement projects, handling stock, setting up displays and keeping the store looking great. Training opportunities include paint-mixing and timber cutting to enhance service.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to help customers with home improvement projects.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technology and ways of working.
• Comfortable working on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as expert advisor to customers and guide their purchases.
• Support sales, stock management and displays to keep the store looking great.
• Opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and timber cutting.
