Our stores are fast‑paced environments where no two days are ever the same and food is our passion. As one of our Home Delivery Drivers, you’ll be a special ingredient that delivers everything our online customers shop for at Sainsbury’s.

Eligibility

• You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.
• You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview, and if you’re successful, there will be a driving assessment when you join us.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to our customers’ doorsteps, on‑time and in great condition.
• Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before leaving for the road to drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions.
• Serving our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
• Building great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
• When not out making deliveries, you will be helping across the store as needed.
