Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers with a DRIVER's LICENCE to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes. Covering Malmsbury, Purton, Mintey Cricklade, Cirencester and it's surrounding areas.The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the best possible care in a comfortable and familiar environment. This role is vital in delivering personalised care tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Support clients with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and behaviour management strategies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
Experience
  • Candidates should have prior experience in caregiving or related fields such as:
  • Assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
  • Senior care, hospice care, or home care settings.
  • Experience with first aid and medication administration is highly desirable.
  • A background in childcare may be beneficial for working with families requiring support for both children and elderly relatives.
