Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Ashby is seeking a Support Worker to provide care and support for a client in her own home. You will assist with personal care, accompany her to activities, and help with daily tasks, with a driving licence essential for community outings.

This role offers ongoing training, DBS/PVG checks, and a supportive team. You must be flexible to cover shifts including weekends, and committed to delivering safe, person‑centred care in the client’s home.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for people with Learning Disabilities/Autism.
• Driver's license essential.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Willingness to work weekends and have flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks including toileting, dressing and showering.
• Assist with medications and practical tasks such as shopping and meal preparation.
• Provide emotional and social support through befriending and community participation.

Skills

Care experience with LD/Autism
