Job summary

Call-In Homecare Limited is seeking a compassionate Home Care Assistant to support clients in Penicuik, Loanhead and surrounding areas. The role offers guaranteed hours and both full-time and part-time patterns, with mornings, evenings, and flexible bank shifts.

You will receive full paid training and join a supportive team dedicated to maintaining clients’ independence at home. Prior care experience is welcomed, but not required, as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring and compassionate
• Good level of English
• Ability to commit to contracted shift patterns
• Full UK driving licence preferred but walking shifts available

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (meal preparation, medication prompts, domestic support)
• Assist with personal care for clients
• Support clients to participate in planning and provision of their care
• Record and report daily visit information accurately
