Job summary

Greenwood Homecare is seeking a Community Care Assistant to visit clients in their own homes across the local area. You will provide a range of support to help clients stay independent and maintain quality of life, including personal care, meals, medication assistance and companionship.

No previous care experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided. A driving licence and access to a car are essential for travel between client homes.

Qualifications

• Friendly and caring attitude.
• Willingness to learn and undertake full training.
• Must drive and have access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Visit the homes of elderly, disabled and vulnerable adults to provide a range of services to help them live independently.
• Assist with personal care and dressing.
• Cook and serve nutritious meals.
• Help prepare and administer medication.
• Provide social support and companionship; chat with customers.
