What would your role as a Care Professional be?

We are looking for a dynamic go getter to work with our lovely clients in their own home. We hire an attitude so no experience is needed, if you are compassionate, empathetic and pass the loved one test you could be the perfect candidate for us at Home Instead.

  • At Home Instead everyday will be different, if you are a good listener and a chatter box, we are looking for you. This is to provide company and a good laugh for the clients that you support.
  • Assisting clients to have a lovely start to the day whether this would be supporting with a shower or picking out there favourite clothing or supporting with toilet breaks, you’re getting the day off to a good start!
  • If you can boil an egg, you are on the right path to be able to support clients with their meals and snacks.
  • You will take part in light cleaning duties to support clients to stay independent in their home for as long as possible.
  • Medication support may be part of supporting the client- Don’t worry if you haven’t done this before we provide all training and support for this.
  • You will be a companion for the client so taking the client to appointments or out for coffee or to activities will also be part of the role, keeping the client as part of the community will encourage more independence and as for being a Care Assistant - It takes a village!
Qualifications

Have you worked in care before? Great, we love looking at how we can build on people’s experience, but if you need some training we are always looking for new people to get into a Career in care.

We are there every step of the way, offering support on the phone or in person, no question is ever too big for us at Home Instead.

We need you to :
  • Be a driver with access to a car
  • Assist with personal care, light cleaning duties and companionship
  • Be able to communicate well with the clients and the office team
  • Have the right to work in the UK
