Caremark Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire is offering a Care Support Apprenticeship. You will train while visiting clients at home to provide personal care, companionship, and light domestic tasks. The role runs 30 hours a week for 13 months at £8.00 per hour, with a pay rise after one year for 19+ year olds.

Location is Cambridge area; training is online with a tutor. Applicants should hold or be aiming for Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship Standard qualifications and be prepared for

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning/evening routines: dressing, washing, toileting.
• Support mobility and use of personal aids.
• Care for clients who are sick or need feeding support.
• Provide care for terminally ill clients.
• Encourage mental and physical activities with clients.
• Make beds, light cleaning, and tidy surroundings.
• Inspect, launder and mend clothes.
• Prepare and serve light meals, clear away.
• Read and write reports; participate in reviews.
• Adhere to Caremark policies; report changes.
• Encourage independence wherever possible.
