Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health Nhs Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled nurse to join the urgent care team. The post holder will work within urgent care and may rotate to A&E Liaison, contributing to patient care plans with service users and carers.

Night duties on a rota basis and weekend work may be required. You will follow safeguarding policies, participate in team meetings, and support service development while ensuring high-quality mental health care.

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or equivalent professional body.
• Experience of risk assessment and risk management.
• Desirable: experience in mental health and home treatment services.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the urgent care team and may be asked to work in other urgent care areas such as A&E Liaison.
• Cover night duties on a rotational basis and weekend work may be required.
• Contribute to development of urgent care services and follow safeguarding policies.
